Joshua – I’d Rather Be Blind – Ohhh Retro mike….stop it! Again at the end..he gets yelpy!!! Otherwise…perfect song for him.

Jessica – My All – She’s a bit off…Sharp…Flat…it’s not working.

Phil – Beggin You  – great job..best he’s sounded!

Joshua – Imagine – I love when he’s not yelpy! Nice job.

Jessica – I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing – Not a bad job…think she went a little flat on the last note though.

Phil – Disease – Nice job…but all his stuff sounds the same. He’s really on point tonight though.

Next week’s show is only an hour?? Oh Thank God!!!

Joshua – No More Drama – What’s with the bounching. Loved the first part…but now he’s getting yelpy! I don’t like it! I don’t like it cause it’s like a lack of control. Growly is ok..but you just get screachy! Personal taste.

Jessica – I’ll Be There – The low part was disconcerting…..!!!!! I liked the other part. But that bridge ..yikes!

Phil – We’ve Got Tonight – He looks simply board!!!  He’s nailing it though. Nice higher register.

Weakest tonight..Jessica…but it’s anybody’s guess.

2 hours again….ugh! Let’s see how much filler we can do tonight!

Hollie – Faithfully – Her weird accent is bothering me on this tonight. But when she tries to ingest the microphone, she’s got it.

Joshua – You Raise Me Up - They all seem to be having trouble starting ..Nice…he’s not yelpy yet. I like him when he’s not. Thank you for not going yelpy…maybe a bit strained on a few of the high notes (runs) But nice.

Jessica – Steal Away – Sing it honey!!!!

Filler Duet..Phil/joshua – This Love – Not Joshua’s strong style. Yet another horrible duet!!!!!

Jessica/Hollie – Eternal Flame –Better than the boys.

Phil – Volcano – Not bad..nice job.

Hollie – I Can’t Make You Love Me – Very nice. Great job. Another restrained performance.

Joshua – This is a Man’s World – oh good god..james brown?  That was awesome. I’ll call him the winner of round 2.

Jessica – And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going – She’s such a pro! Tackled, stole the ball, and ran for a touchdown!!!!  Her phrasing is great!

Tough show to decide..it all comes down to the voting..who’s got the weakest fan base…from past weeks, Hollie goes home. I think that Phils first song was weak.

For me Joshua and Jessica were the winners of the night. It’s so close to call this year. It does really come down to personal choice.

Two Hours..2- songs….lots of filler! Here we go!

Must be Bruce Springsteen night..there’s a bio. Little Steie is the mentor.

Hollie - River Deep Mountain High – Not a bad job…She’s got a great voice!!!!

Phil – The Letter – Nice arrangement! Not sure if this would have a place at radio..but he’s  killing it! Nice job.

Skylar – Fortunate Son – She can work that stage…she commands it!!!!! Lovin’ this. Again..she’s my favorite!!!!!

Joshua/Phil Duet – You’ve lost that loving feelin – And another train wreck…horrible!!! Phil so out of what he’s good at..even looked uncomfortable. Joshua even bad.

Jessica – Proud Mary – Not a bad job..in the battle that is Tina Turner..I think Hollie was the winner.

Joshua – Ain’t Too Proud To Beg – Perfect song for him! Nice job. This is where he belongs…He did get a little Yawwwwwy at the end.

Hollie – Bleeding Love – Such a nice job. Nice pick. We will be hearing a lot from her!!

Phil – Time of the Season – Wrong choice! Mess.

Hollie/Skylar/Jessica Trio – Higher and Higher – I don’t like Jessica on this. But they are better than the boys.

Skylar – You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me – You know..every year I whine and moan about the country one…this year…I want her to win!!!! How did that happen???? Awesome job! Love it!!!

Jessica – You Are So Beautiful – In control of her massive voice. Even some restraint….very nice job!

Joshua – To Love Somebody – Again with the restraint..refreshing from his growly Yawwwwws…(which as I write this..he goes to at the end) I enjoyed the early part of this….he needs to pull back the yowl a bit.

It’s a pleasure this year with the talent. Everyone seems so polished, and keep getting better.

Wow…with so few..and weird voting..anyone could go home..This is hard - weakest of the night for me was Phil..I’d put Joshua in the bottom 2 as well. Maybe Jessica as the third.

Look..it’s a sick Ryan Seacrest..he almost didn’t host the show tonight.

Jessica – Bohemian Rhapsody – Really..saddle her with this? Loud part of this was a mess!

Skylar – The Show Must Go On – Great job!

Joshua – This Things Called Love – Really working the end of the phrases…that’s annoying! Truly abysmal!!!

Eliese – I Want It All – I just don’t like her. Sigh

Phil – Fat Bottom Girls – Not his best…actually kind of annoying!

Hollie – I’ll Love You Till I Die – This was a good pic for her.

Hollie – The Climb – I’ve noticed this week how much she’s grown..more solid and getting better…you know I’ve been a fan…know she’s going to be huge! Nice job…perfect song for her.

Each more solid this round…A winner of round 2 is harder to pick.

Bottom 3? You know I’d like Eliese to go home..I think Phil will be in there..bad first song/unknown (I liked it) song for #2…Maybe Joshua or Jessica as the third.

After what seemed like a 10 minute goodbye to Deandre (gee these 2 hours shows are so long) we are down to 7…singing with mentor Akon, and songs from the last three years.

A day behind..and trying to avoid the people magazine e-mail that says..A favorite slips on Idol….did someone slip?? Or were they bad??  I’m not looking..i’m not looking!!!!!!!!

Skylar – Didn’t know how much I love you – Major country!!! She’s my favorite! I don’t think it’s her best..but nice job.

Colton -  Love The Way You Lie – Nice job. Great job. That really was amazing.

Eliese/Phillip – Somebody I Used To Know – She’s terrible!!!!!!!!  He’s killing it in a good way..she’s destroying it..in a bad way.

Jessica – Stuttering – Another huge performance..great job.

Joshua – Runaway Baby – There’s so omuch talent this year…he’s so good! Very solid tonight..nice to see another side of him!

Colton/Skylar – Don’t You Want To Stay – Nice job!

Hollie – Perfect – technically good..but needs some grit behind it…she’s so young, and Pink has gone through so much to “feel” this song. No doubting her talent and stardom.

Phillip – Give A Little More – Perfect voice for an Adam Levine song. Another great job. Tough tonight.

Hollie/Joshua/Jessica – Stronger – Wow this is rough..big song to try to do.

Elise – You and I – she’s playing drums?  What do you think happened last week being in the bottom 3..how bout we don’t like her!!!!!  Ok..I don’t like her. Lacks feeling. Weird shortening of the song!  I just don’t like her.

I’d send her home in a heartbeat…..others..Hollie, wow this is tough..Skylar?

Everyone did a great job tonight..they all brought it. The bottom 3 results from who doesn’t get the votes.

They really have to stop these 2 hours show…the end just went on and on and on….let’s fill some more! Good god!

And here we go…Idols Idols night. With Stevie Nicks as mentor. Plus we get 3somes singing tonight.

Colton – A Lifehouse song – who’s heard of this? Anyway..technically nice..but wow…dull!!!!!!

Skylar – Miranda Lambert – What a show(wo)man! Works the stage so well. Not my favorite song (it’s a country thing) But I love her!

Colton/Eliese/Phillip  - Landslide/Edge of 17/ Don’t Stop – Nothing to write home about

I might be cranky while watching this….so they need to really wow me.

Heejun – Donny Hathaway – (please go home) – Pretty solid..still have the accent problem with him.

Oh look..it’s Jason Derulo!!! With his blinged out neck brace!

Hollie – Carrie Underwood – Big voice, so young. Nice job. Again, she’ll be a huge star..had a few issues here and there..but wow…nice.

Deandre – Eric Benet – he got screchy…I don’t like his falsetto!!!! And I hate his hair. Before that…I enjoyed it. Hate did I say HATE the falsetto!!!!!

Jessica – Beyonce – Nice job…still not wowing me! I do like the slower version. Smart!

Deandre/Heejun/Joshua – Michael Jackson medly – I hate Deandre…Heejun sounds good here by the way but I don’t think he can dance.

Phillip – Johnny Lang – I think he’s great. So in his place with this type of music.

Joshua  - Mariah Carey – pedestrian…where’s my wow on the highs? He went to screaming….and lost it crying….ugh. I don’t like the BLAHHHHHH high notes!!!!!! Sounds like he’s consipated!!!

Hollie/Skylar /Jessica – Madonna – Well this was kind of a mess.

Eliese – Led Zepplin – Well that rocked!

Tough tonight..not many wowed me..but only Deandre and Heejun were eh in my opinion.
